Ros Vincent
I’m a happy easy going person who, like most people have enjoyed many types of exercise through my life. This came to a screeching halt when, at the age of 30, I was involved in a serious road traffic accident, leading to a long hospital stay and many months of physio, learning to walk again.
I joined Women on The Run in February 2018, after completing my C25K a few months before.
The following year, I completed my first half Marathon and in May 2019, I achieved my goal of running my first marathon, which just happened to take place on the 25th anniversary of my accident! At both huge milestones, I was enthusiastically and very loudly, cheered on by my running family.
In March 2020, I qualified as a Run Leader with the aim of giving something back.
Wherever you run, there will always be a sister in blue cheering you on. Come and meet us – we’re a very friendly bunch.
