About Dee

Picture
After a lifetime of other sports, I decided that my early forties was time for change.  So I started running and, having met Liz Moulder, joined a Women's Running Network group.

The support and encouragement was so much more than I expected and I went from novice to a 'not bad' runner in a very short time.  But more importantly, I made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun.  And I still do!

I enjoy entering events but I don't take it seriously. I love to combine holidays and running events and I look for the different races. I am also a sucker for the bad weather and the mud !

I became a leader in 2014 and love encouraging people to start running and continue achieving. Liz and I are lucky to have a really social group who welcome new runners so enthusiastically that you'll soon feel like you've known the group for years. We combine our love of running with chatting and laughing and nights out - what's not to like?

Feel free to contact us with any questions and I look forward to meeting you.
