About Christine

Picture
I started running when my husband spotted a local Women's Running Club was organising a Beginners couch to 5k course.  That was back in 2006 and I still run with the same club, now know as 'Women on the Run' Preston.

Following the retirement of our longstanding leaders, I felt I was ready to take the Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) course and step into their trainers and lead the group.

Over the years I have done many races, from 5k - to Marathons.  I particularly enjoy trail running, any race that involves food, and have recently become a bit 'Parkrun' obsessed.
