I started running back in 2010 after being in London and watching the London Marathon. I had also just seen Eddie Izzard on Sports Relief run 43 marathons in 51 days and thought that if he could do that, then surely I could run at least one marathon...
It turns out that as I hadn't run since school and didn't have a clue what I was doing, it was a bit harder than I thought!
Fast forward 6 years. Now with a couple of marathons, an ultra and many halves under my belt, I want to go back to basics and help others get into running so have now qualified as a Leader in Running and Fitness.
I know how daunting joining a new group is so I aim to bring fun into running, help get you started and keep you going.
I have a real passion for running and love taking part in events, but most of all I love the social side, friendships and fun, muddy routes that running brings.
